to fall apart.
And desperately needs a place to.

You built it without a manual. You carry it without a witness.
I get it.
I absolutely get it. Every hour is accounted for. Every rupee has a job.
So why would someone who knows this… stop?
Avoiding your inner world is not free. It just gets paid somewhere else.
“…when exploring becomes a way of running away from what’s happening inside, there is no stopping it. You spend 30,000 on a trip. The money you earn will be drained in the exact same manner.”Anaita Arthur Veigas
If you lead something,
you already know this weight.
The people in this room don't usually ask for help. They build things. They carry teams. They make hard calls. They know how to hold it together — and they pay a quiet price for it.
The weight no one sees
Every decision lands on you. Every difficult hire, every pivot, every close call that nobody else knows was a close call. The loneliness of founding is real — and rarely acknowledged.
Success that doesn't feel like enough
You have built something real. And yet the anxiety hasn't stopped. The imposter syndrome hasn't quieted. The gap between what you project and what you feel is widening.
The cost of being the strong one
Your team needs you steady. Your stakeholders need you confident. Somewhere in the performance of leadership, your own needs stopped being part of the equation.
Isolation dressed as freedom
You chose independence — and discovered that freedom without structure is its own kind of chaos. The boundary between work and self has blurred until you can't find either clearly.
You don't need me to tell you
something is wrong.
You just haven't had a safe place to put it down.
Maybe it's the anxiety that arrives before every major decision and stays long after you've made it. The overthinking that runs at 2am when the rest of the world has clocked out.
Maybe it's the pattern you keep noticing in yourself — the people-pleasing that costs you more each time, the rage that comes out sideways, the relationships that suffer because you've given everything to the work.
Maybe it's simply the exhaustion of performing competence when what you need is permission to not know what you're doing — with someone who can hold that honestly and without judgment.
You can't be vulnerable with your team. You can't show this to your investors. You can't let your family see it — they already worry too much.
This is exactly what a private practice is for.
Not venting. Not advice.
Actual movement.
Therapy with me is warm, honest, and deeply practical. I don't do scripted reflection or textbook nods. I do real conversations that go somewhere.
Most of what shows up as anxiety, procrastination, or rage is something older beneath it. We find what that is — without blame, without rushing — and begin to work with the root, not the symptom.
The boundary you can't hold with a co-founder. The conversation you keep avoiding with your team. The response you wish you had given your parent. We work on the exact language, and what makes it hard to say.
Leadership stress lives in the body — the jaw, the chest, the shutdown. Somatic and trauma-informed tools help your nervous system learn that the threat has passed, so you can actually function again.
Not just managing symptoms but building the internal clarity to make decisions from steadiness rather than fear. This is where ACT and values-based work becomes practical — not philosophical.
Evidence-based.
Deeply human.
I draw from multiple evidence-based frameworks — not because one isn't enough, but because you are too complex for a single lens.
Thought Patterns
Identifying and working with the cognitive loops that keep you stuck in anxiety, self-doubt, or reactive decisions.
Values & Regulation
Accepting what cannot be controlled, moving toward what matters, and building emotional regulation that holds under real pressure.
The Root, Not the Symptom
Working with the nervous system, not against it. Understanding why certain triggers have outsized effects — and gently shifting that.
Inner Conflict
The part that wants to grow and the part that is terrified of it. The part that leads and the part that is exhausted. Integration, not suppression.
Old Patterns, New Choices
The people-pleasing, the fear of failure, the imposter syndrome — often have roots that predate the business. We work there too.
Body-Based Clarity
Tools your body can use — not just your mind — so that clarity becomes available even under the pressure that leadership demands.
High-functioning is not
the same as well.
Indians need mental healthcare services today, close to 15% of adults. Most of them will not get it.

Therapy is not adding water
to a full glass.
“When we fill a glass with water, there is no space for more unless you empty it. So therapy with me will be around emptying yourself first and then filling yourself consciously. You cannot first look at why you allowed the glass to be full with water that was not consciously poured by you... and add more good water using some tools and techniques. Eventually, you wear out.”Anaita Arthur Veigas
“I used to say I don't know why people refuse to do the work. But the truth is, I know exactly why. It is called experiential avoidance. It is the absolute terror of uncertainty and the fear that if they actually feel their emotions, they will break. I get it. But knowing why you are hiding is no longer an excuse to stay hidden. It is a choice.”Anaita Arthur Veigas
That is the line between quick tools and deep work. Tools are useful. But tools poured into a full glass just overflow, and eventually you wear out. We empty first: the beliefs, the patterns, the generational conditioning you never consciously chose. Then you fill yourself on purpose.
How we actually work.
No chaos.
This is not a casual drop-in clinic where you show up whenever you feel overwhelmed. Rebuilding your internal reality takes a structured container. Here is the exact process, step by step.
Reaching out & baseline realityThe Initiation
You reach out. If we are a potential fit, I send you the informed consent form and the baseline assessment form straight away. I need to know exactly what is in your glass before we begin emptying it.
Exploratory vs. the packageThe Commitment
Two choices. Book a single exploratory session to test whether you are ready for this level of truth, or step up and commit to a weekly package, which starts at 12 sessions. Packages are paid through Razorpay by weekly auto-debit. Single sessions and lowered-rate sessions are strictly subject to availability, because my schedule prioritises clients committed to the weekly container.
Time, date & pre-workThe Preparation
We lock in a time and date. Before we speak, you complete the pre-session form. You do not show up unprepared. You bring your reality to the table so we do not waste a single minute.
Showing upThe Session
You show up. We do not sugarcoat; we get to the truth. We balance mind, body, spirit and emotions, addressing what is actually happening with radical directness and absolute compassion.
Scheduling & feedbackThe Accountability
Before the session closes, we schedule the exact date of the next one. Therapy with me is like breathing. Therapy with me is like eating. It happens consistently. After every session you submit a feedback rating, so I can track your evolution and keep us focused on your growth.
Doing the heavy liftingThe Integration
You do not leave the work in the room. Between sessions you practise, you reflect on your notes, and you apply what we uncover to your financial, personal and social life.
Rinse and repeatThe Continuation
You show up for the next one. We keep going. We keep emptying the glass, pulling out the conditioning you never chose, and refilling you consciously until your foundation holds.
Two ways in.
One standard.
“Yes, elite therapy is an investment. I started out charging ₹500 a session as a newbie, learning my craft. True psychological architecture takes years of rigorous clinical training and continued education, and that is what you are paying for. And let’s be brutally honest: my fee is a fraction of what it costs to stay stuck in a job that underpays you, distracted, draining your wealth on temporary escapes.”Anaita Arthur Veigas
A single exploratory session lets you test the depth of the work. The package is where the work actually happens. Either way, you reach out first and I send the forms. Every session is 50 minutes.

This is for you if…
- You are ready to show up every single week
- You want the truth, delivered with compassion
- You will do the work between sessions
This is not for you if…
- You want a quick fix
- You want someone to sugarcoat your excuses
- You want drop-in support whenever things feel too much (I am not a crisis service)
I am fiercely protective of my time and energy, and I take growth seriously. I do not promise outcomes; I promise honesty, rigour and a container that holds.
Not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, please contact Vandrevala Foundation +91 9999 666 555 (24/7, free) or iCall 9152987821 (Mon–Sat). Outside India: findahelpline.com.

The work does not stay in the room.
Neither should the practice.
Step six of the container is integration: you practise, you reflect, you apply. The 7-Minute Mind Journal is the tool I built for exactly that. India’s first mind-body integrated self-care journal. Seven minutes a day. One clear next step. No blank pages.
- A 62-day structured system for mind, body, emotions and behaviour
- 243-page hardcover, 6×9 inches, 120 GSM paper that does not bleed
- Written by a licensed psychologist (India), for beginners and advanced journalers alike
A daily practice, not a replacement for therapy. When you are ready for the full weekly container, the package above is where the deeper work happens.
I wasn't always this grounded.
That is exactly why I can help.
My name is Anaita Arthur Veigas. I am a psychologist, trauma-informed therapist, and PhD Scholar based in Mumbai — working online with clients across India and worldwide.
My doctoral research is in self-compassion, mindfulness, and how the mind heals. I have spent seven years and over 3,000 clinical conversations working with thoughtful, emotionally burdened adults who are tired of carrying too much alone.
I am not a coach with a framework. I am a clinician with depth. My work is warm, trauma-informed, reflective, and practical — and it goes beneath the surface because that is where the actual change lives.
I have been the person who reacted first and regretted later. Who said yes while my heart whispered no. Who made choices from panic, from old wounds, from stories that were never true. I know this territory from the inside — not just from the textbook.
The work, in their words.
Names masked for privacy. Nothing else changed.
"After every session I feel as if some weight has been lifted off myself. It has been a wonderful experience where I got to know more about myself and was provided with tools to deal with my stress and anxiety."
"This feels like a safe space. I can express freely without judgment. I really like how client-centric everything is — even in terms of organising sessions. The amount of say I have in my own process is comforting."
"Her genuine empathy and non-judgmental presence helped me overcome fears I had been carrying for years. For the first time I actually felt safe enough to do the real work."

Yes — and in fact the best time to start is before the crisis. Many of the most productive clients are not in acute distress; they are high-functioning people who notice the patterns and want to work on them before they cost more. Therapy is not only for emergencies.
Yes, but the container is weekly, and that is not negotiable. We lock a consistent time each week around your calendar. If your schedule is genuinely chaotic, we deal with that first, because the chaos is usually part of what we are working on.
Coaching works with goals and strategies at the surface level. Therapy works with what is underneath — the patterns, wounds, and nervous system responses that shape how you lead, relate, and decide. I offer clinical therapy, which means we can go to the root of what is keeping you stuck.
Yes. Everything shared in a session is held under standard therapeutic confidentiality. Your information is never shared with third parties. Standard duty-of-care protocols apply in clinical emergencies.

You have carried
this long enough.
One private session. Entirely online. Someone who already understands the weight of leading — and knows what to do with it.
