They Told You to "Just Breathe." But That’s Not Enough, Is It?

If breathing exercises alone could fix your anxiety, you wouldn’t be here.
If “thinking positive” actually worked, you’d have solved this years ago.

But here’s the truth they don’t tell you: Anxiety is smart. It doesn’t just go away because you wish it would. It shapeshifts. It hijacks your reasoning. It convinces you that the worst-case scenario is the only scenario.

And worst of all? It lies to you. It tells you that you’ll always feel this way. That you’re not strong enough. That no one gets it.

I call BS.

You’re not broken. You don’t need to “fix” yourself.
But you do need the right tools, strategies, and support to challenge the lies anxiety feeds you.

And that’s exactly what we do inside this group.

What You’ll Experience in 6 weeks

This is not just another “support group” where people vent and go home feeling the same. This is structured, expert-led therapy designed to change how your mind responds to anxiety.

For six weeks, we meet once a week for 75 minutes.
We don’t just talk about anxiety—we work on it.

Week 1: Why Anxiety Feels So Real—And How to Break Free from Its Grip

Week 2: The Science of Anxiety—Cognitive Restructuring & Thought Work

Week 3: Emotional Triggers—How to Stop Fear from Taking Over

Week 4: Stress Inoculation—Training Your Brain for Resilience

Week 5: Relaxation Training & Nervous System Reset

Week 6: The Long Game—Application, Follow-Through & Next Steps

Group Therapy for Anxiety – FAQs & Common Concerns

I don’t know if my anxiety is ‘bad enough’ for therapy. Should I even join?

Anxiety has a sneaky way of making you question whether your struggles are "serious enough." If anxiety is interfering with your ability to fully engage in life—whether that’s at work, in relationships, or even in the way you talk to yourself—then it’s worth addressing.

You don’t need to hit rock bottom before you seek support. This group is for you if:
✅ You overthink, second-guess yourself, or feel paralyzed by decisions.
✅ You experience physical symptoms of anxiety (tight chest, racing heart, nausea).
✅ You struggle to relax, even when there’s nothing “wrong.”
✅ You feel like anxiety controls your life more than you'd like it to.

However, if you are experiencing severe symptoms, have panic attacks frequently, or are currently on medication, this group alone may not be enough. You are still welcome, but I strongly recommend having a personal therapist alongside this group to ensure you get the full support you need.

I don’t want to share personal stuff with strangers.

That’s completely understandable. Opening up can feel intimidating. But here’s what I want you to know: You are always in control of what you share.

This group is designed to be a safe space, not a pressure zone. You can engage at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Some members choose to share deeply, while others focus on listening and learning. Both are valid ways to participate.

Also, remember: Everyone here gets it. You’re not walking into a room full of people who have it all figured out—you’re stepping into a space where people just like you are working through the same struggles.

I’ve tried therapy before, and it didn’t work for me.

I hear this a lot. Maybe you didn’t click with your therapist. Maybe it felt like a venting session with no real takeaways. This is different.

This is structured cognitive group therapy that focuses on:
✔️ Identifying and breaking anxious thought patterns
✔️ Understanding the science of anxiety so it doesn’t control you
✔️ Learning practical tools that you can apply in real-life situations
✔️ Practicing skills in a supportive, real-time setting

This is not just “talking about feelings.” This is actively rewiring how your mind responds to anxiety.

I’m really busy. What if I can’t make it every week?

I get it—life is full. But let’s be real: If anxiety is draining your energy daily, what’s the cost of not doing anything about it?

The sessions are only 75 minutes, once a week, on Thursdays. You can choose between:
1:00 PM IST
4:30 PM IST
9:00 PM IST

If you miss a session, you won’t be lost—we do check-ins and provide resources so you can stay on track. But consistency is key. If you’re ready to commit to real change, prioritizing one session a week is a small but powerful step.

I’m not sure I can afford it.

Investing in your mental well-being can feel like a big decision. That’s why we offer flexible payment options:

💰 Per Session: ₹1,500 per session
💰 Autodebit Subscription Plan: ₹3000 every two weeks
💰 Sliding Scale Spots: 1-2 spots available at ₹1,000 for those in financial need

If cost is a concern, reach out. Your mental health is important, and I don’t want finances to be the thing that holds you back.

Can I just learn these strategies from books or YouTube?

Sure, you can Google coping techniques. But knowing what to do and actually applying it in your daily life are two completely different things.

This group provides real-time guidance, structure, accountability, and a supportive environment—things self-help resources simply can’t replicate.

It’s the difference between reading about swimming and actually getting in the water with a trained instructor.

PS we're all running on an information overload. If you're chosing this, it's going to be all action.

What if I try it and it doesn’t help?

That’s a valid concern. But let’s flip the question: What if it does?

What if, six weeks from now, you feel calmer, more in control, and better equipped to handle stress?

The only way to know is to take the first step.

I want to do this, but I’m still unsure…

It’s okay to feel hesitant—change is uncomfortable. But discomfort is often where growth happens.

Here’s my question for you: What’s the cost of staying stuck?

If anxiety has been controlling your life, your thoughts, and your decisions, how much longer do you want to give it that power?

If you’re ready to take back control—this is your space.
